  1. Will you go with the new 2019 MBP or wait for the Cheese Grater Pro?!

Aloha Jason…thank you for this…I'm been trying to decide if I want to wait for the cheese grater or get the MBP and a henge dock…this video helped a lot….thank you.

I would love a review on this one.

It is the most powerful laptop on the market right now.

I bought it and it total crap. Premiere runs so slow and the all machine is completely not stable.

I sent the computer back to the shop so they can tell me if the computer is deficient.

However I would love to get a review on this one to see if this computer isn’t working good with you too.

  4. Just what I was looking for Jason, thank you! Being able to see playback and general editing experience in a review like this, for a specific machine, is so much more valuable than export times. Who cares about export time anyway?! Go get a coffee or lunch if you’re exporting big projects!

  5. I am considering getting this almost exact model, but not upgrading the video card. Is this a huge mistake? Do you know how much different its going to act without the Pro Vega?

  6. Very good review. Relevent and exactly what i needed to know. On top of that well shot well performed and funny. Always refreshing to see quality on Youtube 🙂

  7. Man, you need to do a more realistic test with a more affordable MacBook, 90% of the MacBooks users doesn't spend more than 4000 USD on their laptop. Please make a video using the MacBook Pro 15 inch, with i7, 16 Gb and the base AMD graphic card.

  8. Hi! I've got a doubt about it. it's normal to experience overheating in the MacBook Pro 2019 (i9 RAM 16 GB 512 GB SSD Radeon 560X) when using premier…? (maybe 176 -194 ºF) thanks people to take the time to answer

  9. Should a 2019 15 inch macbook pro with the i7, 555x 4gb and 16gb of ram be good enough for 4k/1080p editing?

  10. Hey so are you implying that it’s only possible to see these results by getting the most spec’d out MBP 2019? I don’t have $4,009 to spend, I’m around 2,500 🤒

  11. Hi, im actually interest about ur razer blade! Just wanted to know, for how long already u having that blade since ur first bought?? And during dailly usage, do you experienced any kind of issue?? Like ports issue (tb3,usb,hdmi etc), performance drop issue, throttle, blue screen when connecting to external display or anything??.. bcus im decide to buy this machine and i lookup the internet its shown many issues happend with this machine. And just wanted to know, where u buy ur blade back then?? From razer official store or some reseller like microsoft store, amazon, best buy or other?? Many thanks :)) *typos

  12. render time is not important, smooth butter flow working is very important when editing. who are all accept my thoughts?

  13. Hey, Ive been using my current pc for over 5 years now. My gear shoots in 4K now, and im really having problems editing my drone and camera footage. Should I go for the Macbook Pro 15'' i9 32gb priced at 4100 Euros? I start university in September and Im really working hard making client and YT videos. I use PP and AE to edit. Or just recommend me another machine plz

  14. This is a review I've searched for ! Thanks for this Video ! But I have one question: how is the performance between 560x and Vega 20 ? .. is there a huge difference while editing in premiere or final cut or resolve ? .. does it faster render with Vega 20 ? .. and how much faster ? .. I don't care about a difference of 5 min. more rendering. Is the editing same smooth with 4k in Timeline playing with 560x like this video here with the Vega 20 ? .. Thank You for your answers 🙂

I am curious when it's appropriate to upgrade to 32gb of RAM. Granted I use FCPX so may use RAM differently, but not sure when it's needed unless you're editing Transformers or something on a MacBook Pro…at that point it's easily justified.

Ohh do a review of the 13 inch and test it. Not everyone is looking for the 15 inch model… Every video on youtube is for the 15 inch..

  17. On your comment on Apple up-charging on their SSD storage. They're not upcharging as much as you'd think. They're using the fastest SSD's in any laptop that exists, not the cheap stuff Razer is using in their laptops. Your Mac SSD is getting 2.5 to 3GB/s read and write times, where as that Razer struggles to even get 500MB/s (benchmarks show around 300MB/s on the 2018 model)
Don't fall into the trap of "big number = better"
Those M.2 SSD's Apple is rocking are no joke.
